Aadhaar Verdict: Supreme Court upholds constitutional validity of Aadhaar Act; allows Aadhaar-PAN Linking

The five-judge Constitution Bench of the Supreme Court headed by CJI Dipak Misra upheld the constitutional validity of Aadhaar Act, 2016. The bench struck down the Section 57 of the Aadhaar Act that allows private entities to use Aadhaar for verification purpose.
